As a camper owner , you are always looking for unique places in the middle of nature, with a peaceful view.
Our neighbourhood enables you to socialise with the locals for a fresh croissant in the morning or a drink in the afternoon.

Eastermar, an idyllic village between Drachten and Leeuwarden, can offer this in a unique location.
This camperspot is located on the edge of the village, at the start of a beautiful walking track along ancient sandy paths.
You can choose a spot close to the water and look out over the lively activity of our marina. Or you can choose a spot with an unobstructed view over the fields on our second site.
Shops, restaurants and a small beach are within walking distance.

Watersportbedrijf de Lits has a camper spot in a beautiful, green location, right on the marina and open water. All facilities are available. Your camper can be connected to electricity and there are sanitary facilities. There is an opportunity to fill up with clean water and to empty the waste water tank and chemical toilet. Free WiFi is available at the camper location.

Reservations not required

If the places directly at the entrance/marina are full, there is enough space on the second terrain. Please report to the water sports shop (green building), then we will show you the way.

WALKING AND CYCLING

The location is in the middle of the coulisse landscape of the Noardlike Fryske Wâlden; walking and cycling routes are available.

WATER SPORTS

Sailing, surfing, sloop sailing, SUP, canoeing; Eastermar is situated between two lakes, so there are plenty of possibilities.

TERRACES

In the centre of our pleasant village you will find various catering facilities and terraces.

SWIMMING & RECREATION

A sun and swimming beach is a five-minute walk from the camper spot.

SHOPS

Including a supermarket with fresh vegetables and bread and a traditional butcher's shop.

ENJOY

Enjoy the shops in the idyllic village, meet other tourists at the public picknicktable in the centre of the village.

How can we make your stay as pleasant as possible?

Camperspot

Your campervan is on a paved surface with green areas in between. There are places with shade and with full sun.

Pets

Your dog is welcome, provided it is kept on a leash.

Location

Our location is in the middle of the National Landscape Noardlike Fryske Wâlden. This coulisselandscape is characterized by wooded banks, alder groves, sandy paths and pingo ruins.

Walking tip

Take binoculars with you on your walk. You have a chance to see special birds and deer.

Nature

The camperspot is located between two lakes, De Leien and the Burgumer Mar. Both are beautiful nature reserves with walking and cycling paths around the lakes.

Bicycle tours

From the camperspot you can take beautiful bike rides, such as a tour around the Leien or the small ferries route.

Marina

We have a trailer ramp for small boats and a marina for passing boats.

Events

Eastermar has several fun events such as a horse market, skûtsjesilen and a street festival. Check the village agenda.

Our camper spots are not free, but the rates are very reasonable:

€ €17 per night, excluding electricity

Regardless of the size of your camper or bus camper. Including shower and tourist tax for 2 persons.
Additional persons € 1,50 p.p.p.n.

  • Open all year round (Our sanitary building is open to a limited extent from November 1 to April 1);
  • Reservations are not necessary, we will always find a spot for you;
